Singapore is a very child –friend and family oriented society. Education system is flexible and caters to every child’s abilities, interests, and aptitudes so as to help each develop to his fullest potential. 

A child in Singapore undergoes at least 10 years of general education.  A child is admitted to primary one at the age of six.  Primary education lasts six years and   Secondary education is four or five years depending on the student’s performance.

At the end of Secondary Education, students will sit for the Singapore Cambridge General Certificate Education’ Ordinary (GCE) ‘O’ level.  Depending on the results and preference, students may go on to do a 2 years pre-university or 3 years at a centralized institute. At the end of it, student will sit for the Singapore Cambridge General Certificate of Education ‘Advance’ (GCE ‘A’) level examination. Students will good ‘A’ level results will qualify of tertiary education.
